Christmas Unimog Safaris – 8th Dec ‘18

Hop on board the Unimog & see the Red Deer and choose your Nordman Fir Christmas tree on a unique family outing!

This event has now finished. Please check back later.

This is a very special Christmas Safari!  You will you enjoy a ride on the Unimog around Stourton Estates through woodland and into the deer enclosure to see our herd of Red Deer.  A lovely experience for the whole family in the run up to Christmas plus you can also choose your own Christmas Tree to take home.

This is a great opportunity to get together and get up close and personal with our Red Deer before going to back to the farm to choose from a selection of beautiful premium Nordmann Fir Trees.  There will also be a selection of hot drinks (complimentary tea/coffee with every tree purchase) as well as mince pies and cakes available, before heading home to decorate your tree.

These Christmas Safaris are very limited in number so booking is essential, they will last just under an hour.  Infants under 2 are free of charge, but must sit on knees.

Toilet facilities are available at the farm, before the start and at the end of the tour.

If you would like more information on the Nordmann Fir Trees available please click here to see our range.

Please read the Visitor Information tab (above) that has full details of where to meet to join this tour.  Unfortunately if you are unable to make it to the start point by the tour leave time, in order to be fair to other passengers we will have to start the safari.  However if there are places on an alternative tour you may be able to join that one instead.

Visitors should meet at Stourton Estates, at Top Yard Farm from the Caistor High Street (B1225), LN9 5PB.  Look out for the red venison sign on the roadside, showing the farm entrance.  There is also a green sign showing Top Yard Farm above the hedgerow.

Unfortunately there is not any wheelchair access on the Unimog and visitors need to be able to climb up a ladder at the rear of the mog to get on board safely.

It is suggested that warm clothing is worn as it will be cold on the back of the mog!

Visitors should aim to arrive on site 15 minutes ahead of the tour leaving time.
