During a Naturally Beautiful Season

From Spring to late Summer is the perfect season for weddings at Stourton Woods.  Whilst we can’t guarantee the weather, the grounds are at their best during the months of May to September so this is the ideal time to hold your wedding here.

The grass is regularly trimmed, with plenty of woodland walks to enjoy time-out as newly-weds.  The trees and shrubs in the arboretum are in full leaf and the surroundings are naturally beautiful with wild flowers dotted around.

Limited Wedding Availability

We take great care of the venue and so we limit wedding availability in the grounds each year so the grounds are in tip-top condition and special (perfect for garden games!) for each and every couple choosing Stourton for their celebration.

So, if you are looking for a particular date in forthcoming summer seasons please do get in touch and come for a look around so that we can discuss options and confirm dates with you.

Your Wedding – Your Way!

It is wonderful to see your ideas come to life and you are free to decorate the venue & grounds however you choose.  Or, opt to keep it simple and let your love and beauty of the venue shine through.  If you’d like help we can also put you in touch with wedding styling and prop hire services to help decorate the venue.

You might like to stay overnight in the grounds, and hiring in a small bell tent village in the middle of the arboretum gives you the option to catch up with friends and family the next day too – your wedding weekend!  You and your guests can also choose to camp in the grounds if you’d like to.

Florists and cake makers can personalise your wedding and make it special to you.
