Before You Visit

Please note:

  • The sunflower field is reached via a short woodland walk from the deer park car park.
  • Unfortunately the route is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or prams due to uneven woodland paths.
  • Dogs are very welcome but must remain on leads and owners must clean up after them.
  • Please wear suitable footwear as paths may be uneven.

A note on Opening Times

This year’s warm weather has brought the sunflowers into bloom much earlier than expected.

As a working farm we’re balancing harvesting, farming operations and private events, so opening dates are limited.  We hope these extra dates will give visitors plenty of opportunity to see the beautiful sunflowers here!

We are ONLY accessible from the A158, please look for the signage on the roadside turning down Clays Lane and following the signs to Stourton Woods / the Walled Garden Baumber.  PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS FROM THE CAISTOR HIGH STREET B1225.

Once on the Estate after 50 yards turn right onto the chalk road and see our team on the gate to gain access to the parking area within the deer field.

Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for those who are unable to climb 3 steps onto the trailer, pushchairs and wheelchairs will also struggle with the terrain in the sunflower field as the ground is very bumpy.

Well behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome to come and enjoy the sunflower experience with you!
