Our BBQ packs contain some of our most popular venison products – burgers, sausages and steak. Being gluten free and with an exceptionally high venison content they are a healthy alternative and have a subtle gamey flavour. We normally serve them at our events and they go down a storm with both children and adults alike.
Once defrosted the burgers just need cooking them for 5 minutes on each side, this leaves them still pink in the middle. You can cook them for longer if preferred. The sausages are next to go on, turning frequently to gently brown on all sides. Save the best ’til last as the steaks need the least cooking – 2 mins each side on a high heat will be plenty and ensures the meat is lovely and tender. We suggest oiling the grill or the meat before searing so avoid sticking as these products are so low in fat – it’s 100% goodness 🙂
We recommend serving the burgers in a bun, alongside some delicious locally grown and grilled Bomber County Asparagus or crunchy salad leaves and relish or slaw.
Each pack contains 4 venison burgers, 6 venison sausages and two large rump or haunch steaks – a lovely selection for the whole family to enjoy! Alternatively defrost them separately and enjoy on different days if you prefer… or have a smaller appetite!
