This year is a special one for us.

In 1926, Antony’s Grandfather Harry Strawson began farming at Stourton. One hundred years later, we are opening the gates and inviting you to celebrate with us for a FREE day out for families, food lovers, and anyone who cares about where their food comes from.

Here you will find real farming, real people, real food, and a working estate with a century of stories to tell.

What’s on?

Get close to displays of machinery you rarely see up close – tractors, a combine harvester, direct drill, sprayer, as well as hedge cutting and fencing equipment. You will also see the forestry kit that makes our woodland and landscaping products: log processing, wood chipping, and our delivery vehicle with mini-crane.

Get hands-on with family-friendly activities including our farm safaris (tractor and trailer rides) around the estate, a children’s grain-pit play area, mini ride-on tractors, axe throwing, and the chance to explore the science of living soil; the remarkable world beneath our feet that makes everything possible.

Browse a farmers’ market featuring local quality producers in Lincolnshire – pork, lamb, bread, cheese, fruit, vegetables, beef boxes to order, flowers and oils, alongside our own estate venison.  Stay for lunch with street food vendors serving locally reared burgers, crepes, pasta, ice cream, freshly ground coffee and Hawkstone Beer.

Meet the farmers, contractors and rural businesses who support British agriculture and the Lincolnshire countryside and ask them anything – this is your chance to learn more about farming, sustainability and the countryside.
