Our venue, Stourton Woods is at the heart of the historic Stourton Estate, made up of woodland, parkland and lakes and home to our herds of Red Deer – it is a beautiful ‘hidden gem’.
We have a variety of locations available to hire for your event, through the months of May – October. The Safari Tent is nestled within the shelter of the arboretum, on the site of the old peach house. It is deceptively spacious, measuring 130m2 and has capacity to seat 100 making a great fun party venue or attractive well-being setting. It also has wonderful views down to the lakes and parkland beyond.
Our Roundhouse is situated in the woodland near the woodland parking area. This eye-catching agricultural building is a large circular dome of 30metres diameter. The calves born in the summer months make it their home and shelter in there over the winter. This venue can accommodate large scale events with over 700m2 of space to play with – perfect for markets, exhibitions, product launches or festivals.
Over the estate there are 3 self-guided trails for visitors to walk along from 1km, 3km and 5km in length, these are all circular routes and are clearly waymarked around the grounds. A number of wooden benches have also been dotted around the estate for visitors to take a breather and enjoy the views.
There is a large, stoned parking area adjacent to the Roundhouse suitable for approximately 100 cars, this is easily accessible to buses and other large vehicles. Larger overflow parking facilities are also available. Three fully flushing toilet facilities are located next to the safari tent in the arboretum with disabled access and baby changing facilities.
These spaces can hired individually or combined together depending on your requirements. Exclusive hire comes as standard, although we are happy to work with you if you would like to hold a public event here.
We are extremely flexible in our approach, with overnight accommodation in bell tents / camping available within the grounds. We work with a large range of local high quality, professional suppliers which we are happy to share with you should you need additional support.
Reared here on the farm, professionally butchered & packaged for us by local butchers and labelled here, we deliver direct to your door in our veni-van across Lincolnshire, freshly frozen venison is also available for delivery nationwide!

Come with a group of friends and family and hire a camping / caravan pitch in the arboretum! Experience wild camping at Stourton over weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) from June – September (subject to availability). Our facilities on-site include: a fire pit and supply of logs, running water, toilet facilities, waste disposal point (for caravans). You can enjoy full access to the estate over the weekend. There are optional additional extras such as farm safaris available upon request. For families and groups who would like to get away from it all. Get together in a stunning private estate. Prices start at at £150 for 5 pitches for one night (larger groups and additional pitches can be accommodated, please contact us for availability and more details.
