We normally stock venision fillet, venison sirloin joints and venision haunch joints. Venison fillet / loin is the premium cut and enjoying it is a real treat. The rindless meat is wonderfully tender with a delicate flavour, delicious served rare with new potatoes / chunky chips. Venison sirloin is a prime roasting joint. It is a very tender joint, perfect for a special occasion when sliced thickly and served with lashings of dijon mustard! Not only is the venison sirloin extremely tasty but venison is low in fat & cholesterol whilst being high in protein & iron. Venison haunch is a super roasting joint from the hind quarters of the deer. It is a great joint for your Sunday roast and works brilliantly when teamed with a rich red wine and fruity gravy. We offer free delivery of all orders of frozen venison over £25 (or alongside another log / landscaping product order) within a 20 mile radius from LN9 5PB. Normally our orders are delivered each week on a Tuesday or Thursday and we phone you the day before delivery to confirm the approximate time of delivery. To maintain its freshness our venison is frozen and it will be still frozen when we deliver it to you. If you are unable to be at home to take delivery of your order please ensure that there is a cool-box on your doorstep so that we can pop it in there to keep it fresh. If you are planning on entertaining then you will need to factor some time in to your preparations to defrost your venison thoroughly before use.
