Food & Drink Fayre

After the success of our first Food & Drink Fayre last year, we’re so excited for Sunday 14th September 2025!

Join us for a mouth-watering celebration of local food, drink and artisan produce in the stunning surroundings of Stourton Woods. You can really make a day of it with:

  • Cookery Demonstration and Talks from local producers – more detail below!
  • Farm Safaris – on the tractor and trailer around the estate are available to book in advance online here
  • Picnic area and space in the arboretum – for families to enjoy freedom and nature in this enclosed area
  • Waymarked self-guided trails to explore around the beautiful estate – ranging from 1km, 3km & 5km (well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome)

As well as stands selling packaged food & drink and gifts to take home, a great selection of quality street food and drinks vendors will be on site for you to eat whilst you’re here!

With relaxed music playing throughout the day around the roundhouse this is an event for you to relax and soak up the atmosphere whilst discovering some fabulous local food & drinks made locally.

There is no entry fee for this event, it will be £5 per car to pay on the gate for parking which goes directly towards the upkeep of the grounds and venue here.  Parking will be in the field off Clays Lane – it’s a good idea to fill your car & come in groups for a great value for a day out!

We’ve got a fantastic line-up of producers sharing their passion, expertise and stories throughout the day – with the highlight being a live cookery demo from Richie of The Red Lion Inn, Raithby at 12 noon!

Here’s the programme:
10.30 – 11.00 | Russ Gleeson – The Gleeson’s Goodlife
11.15 – 11.45 | Fraser Key – Mayfield Vineyard
12.00 – 1.00 | Cookery Demo with Richie – Red Lion Inn, Raithby
1.15 – 1.45 | Antony Strawson – our very own Stourton Venison
2.00 – 2.30 | Jayne Hollingsworth – Top Farm Enterprises
2.45 – 3.15 | Adam O’Meara – Bread + Cheese

This is a brilliant chance to meet the makers, learn from the experts and taste the difference at this year’s fayre!

Alongside over 50 incredible traders on site offering everything from award-winning cheeses, preserves, and fresh produce to artisanal bakes, honey, fudge, charcuterie, handmade crafts and more. Sip and savour local gins, wines, ciders, coffees, and street food delights – from bao buns and loaded fries to freshly griddled crepes and indulgent cakes.

Enjoy tastings, meet the makers, and pick up something delicious or beautifully handcrafted home-wares to take home. With live cooking, talks from producers, family-friendly activities and local entertainment, it’s the perfect foodie day out in the heart of Lincolnshire.

Visitors should access Stourton Woods from the A158, a map showing how to find us is available here.

Look out for the temporary road signage which will be put up on the verges of surrounding main roads indicating access to the venue on the day.

There is no entry fee for this event, it is £5 per car to pay on the gate for parking which goes towards the upkeep of the venue.  We encourage visitors to car share, fill your car, come in groups which represents excellent value for a day out!
